The Grünhorn Group announces changes in its leadership structure: Stefan Fritsch, founder of the Leipzig-based cannabis group, will immediately take over sole management of Schurer Pharma & Kosmetik GmbH. Simultaneously, an interim CFO has been appointed to oversee the financial division.

Changes at Schurer Pharma & Kosmetik GmbH

At the turn of the year, the Grünhorn Group parted ways with Sven-Roger von Schilling, who had served as CFO of the cannabis group and co-managing director of Schurer Pharma & Kosmetik GmbH (SPK) since October 2023. Based in Leipzig, SPK is a leading provider of fulfillment and logistics services for cannabis pharmacies. The company supports the entire supply chain, including storage, order picking, packaging, shipping of cannabis medicines to pharmacies, as well as returns and inventory management. Through innovative partial automation, SPK ensures efficient order processing.

Stefan Fritsch will lead Schurer Pharma & Kosmetik GmbH as its sole managing director within the Grünhorn Group. This decision enhances the company’s agility, promotes a clear and efficient leadership structure, and secures its ongoing development.

Fritsch Appoints Interim CFO

Effective January 7, 2025, Dr. Marko Jakob will take on the role of interim CFO for the Grünhorn Group. With extensive experience in senior positions at various growth-oriented companies and a robust finance background, Dr. Jakob will manage the financial operations of Germany's largest medical cannabis group.

The financial stability of the Grünhorn Group remains unaffected by these changes. All ongoing financing initiatives are proceeding as planned, supporting the strategic growth of the company.
