Leipzig, 16. Juni 2025.<\/em> New hope for millions of sufferers: A medicinal cannabis-based cream now offers a new treatment option for people with atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, or chronic itching. The cannabis cream was specifically developed for irritated, itchy, and inflamed skin and can now be prescribed by a doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chronic inflammatory skin diseases affect more than 20 million people in Germany. According to current surveys, around 27 percent of adults suffer from acute skin changes that require treatment.1<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frequently recurring symptoms such as itching, redness, or tightness cause significant distress for many sufferers.
