Grünhorn Signs Sponsorship Agreement with Para-Darts Player Arnt Schneider

Grünhorn, the parent brand of Germany’s largest cannabis network, has signed a sponsorship agreement with para-darts professional and German national player Arnt Schneider. From now on, Schneider will act as Grünhorn’s brand ambassador.

Schneider will represent Grünhorn by wearing the sponsor’s logo on his playing attire at tournaments and events outside the World and European Championships and will actively promote the Grünhorn brand and its reputation. In return, Grünhorn will support Schneider with the necessary resources for participating in tournaments and events as part of his para-darts career.

Schneider has a disability with a degree of 100 due to a polytrauma in 1999. On July 14, 2023, he qualified as a national player for the World and European Championships. It was only in 2022 that he was accredited for international competitions by both the World Para Darts Association (WPD) and the World Disability Darts Association (WDDA).

“Arnt Schneider had to undergo intensive medical care and numerous surgeries following life-threatening injuries from a motorcycle accident in 1999. In 2017, he began alternative treatment with homeopathic remedies and cannabis, as his previous heavy medication significantly impacted his daily life. The success of this therapy allowed him to gradually reintegrate into everyday life, significantly improve his quality of life, and even become a professional athlete. This exemplary case demonstrates the effectiveness of medicinal cannabis as an alternative to traditional treatment methods, especially opioids. At the same time, it makes Arnt Schneider an inspiring role model. We are very excited to support him in his continued professional success story,” says Stefan Fritsch, founder of the Grünhorn network and responsible for sponsorship.
